Workshop Make-Ups
Workshop make-ups are only for students who have missed a scheduled workshop and need to attend the same workshop with another cohort.

Workshop Make-Up
$50
Required per missed session to secure a place in another cohort. Covers administration and placement.
1-1 Workshop Make-Up
$250
$250 fee to complete a private make-up with a coach. Charged per missed session; subject to availability.
Disclaimer
- Make-up placements are subject to availability and may be at a different day, time, campus, or online.
- The fee is charged per missed workshop session; one fee is required for each session you need to make up.
- Paying this fee does not extend your enrolment end date; normal attendance requirements still apply.
- Once a make-up is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable. If you miss the make-up, an additional $50 fee may be required to rebook, unless approved due to extenuating circumstances by NHFA’s Admin team.
- Make-ups must be completed within your active enrolment period (including any approved extensions).
Course Extensions
Course extensions are only for students who are coming up to their 12-month expiration date.

Extensions are added to the date your course expires, not the date of purchase.
Extensions are not always available as an option and are approved at the discretion of the NHFA's Director and the ASQA rules regarding superseded qualifications.
* Course extensions cannot exceed an additional 12 months (12-month original enrolment allowance + 12-month extensions = 24 months max.)
Course Deferments
Need to move your workshop date to a later intake? A deferment lets you transfer to a future cohort while keeping your original course access period.
Please complete the following DEFERMENT FORM, as well as paying the deferment fee below.
Course Deferment
$300
Administrative fee to transfer to a future cohort (subject to availability and approval).

A deferment moves workshop attendance only. Your course start and end dates do not change.

If your new workshop date is after your original end date, you may also need a Course Extension (fees apply) to remain eligible for assessment.

Places are subject to capacity and scheduling. One change per deferment fee.

Approval is at the discretion of the NHFA CEO or delegate and must align with ASQA requirements and qualification currency rules.

Course Re-Enrolment
Re-enrolment may be offered within 12 months of your original end date where your enrolment has expired, your attendance/engagement has been insufficient to meet competency, or other options (extension/deferment) are not suitable or have been exhausted.
Single Course Re-Enrolment
$800
A single course re-enrolment is required if you are re-enroling into only a single qualification (either the Certificate III OR the Certificate IV in Fitness)
Dual Course Re-Enrolment
$1,300
A dual course re-enrolment is required if you are re-enroling in both your Certificate III and IV in Fitness.

Re-enrolment may be offered within 12 months of your original end date if your course has expired, been cancelled, or you did not complete your previous enrolment.

Completed competencies will be credited if evidence remains on file.

NHFA will ensure you are fully informed of requirements, timelines, and total costs before confirming a new enrolment.

Re-enrolment will not be approved if you could still complete through an extension or deferment, or if you have previously re-enrolled and again failed to maintain engagement without a valid reason.
