The learner resource is designed to complement the video-based course by providing additional reading and reference material to support your learning. It highlights key concepts, summaries, and practical frameworks that can help reinforce what you’ve covered in the modules.

You’ll find a learner resource available for each module, and a full downloadable version is also available in the Introduction module if you’d prefer to keep everything in one place. While it doesn’t contain all video content, it’s a great companion to revisit when reviewing topics or preparing for assessments.

Assessments are fully integrated into your course experience to make learning seamless and straightforward. From Modules 2 to 10, you’ll complete short knowledge checks designed to reinforce key concepts as you go.

At the end of the course, you’ll complete three final meal plan assessments based on real-world client case studies. These are located in the Meal Plan Assessments module, where you’ll find all the details and resources needed. Once submitted, your work will be reviewed by an assessor who will provide feedback and mark your assessment.

Everything is in one place, so it’s easy to follow and stay organised as you go.

You’re also welcome to message your assessor directly through the platform—just click the message icon on the right side of your screen to get in touch.

Your assessments are generally reviewed within 7–10 business days after submission. You’ll receive clear feedback and guidance if resubmission is required.

You’ll receive your Certified Nutrition Coach certificate once the following are completed:

✔️ All modules in the learning platform
✔️ All assessments submitted and marked competent
✔️ Course fees are up to date (if you’re on a payment plan)

Once all requirements are met, your certificate will be sent to you via email.

Yes. Once certified, you can apply for insurance that covers the delivery of non-clinical nutrition coaching services. There is a dedicated module at the end of your course that walks you through everything you need to know about getting insured, including how to connect with our recommended broker.

While NHFA does not provide insurance directly, we recommend Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., who offer discounted insurance options for our graduates. Details and application links are provided in the final module of your course.

No. Insurance must be arranged separately. NHFA provides guidance and an approved provider, but all policies/arrangements are made directly with the broker.
