The Video Library is your go-to learning resource, available anytime to support your study. Once your enrolment is processed, youâll receive an email with your login details. This will come from [email protected]âif you donât see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam or junk folder.
You will be given access to the learning platform once your enrolment is processed, typically within 1-2 business days.
This is one of your super-important learning resources. It's full of consultation forms, which you can start to look at as soon as you start. Please bring these to all your practical sessions. We will be filling these out during all of our practical workshops.Â
It also contains all of our poster frameworks that you will need to learn and know. Please keep these in your books for the first couple of weeks, as your coaches will use these as learning resources in our practical sessions. After your first 3 weeks, you may choose to take these posters out and put them on your wall at home or work, or somewhere where you can see them regularly.
Lastly, your final evaluation is at the back. You can start to familiarise yourself with the consultation forms and whatâs required; however, we do practice this extensively in the back half of the practical workshops.
aXcelerate is the online learning platform used to complete all assessments for the Certificate III and IV in Fitness. Access to aXcelerate is provided upon enrolment and serves as your central hub for managing and submitting course assessments.
Note: aXcelerate has replaced Learnbook as our learning platform. If you have access to aXcelerate, you can disregard any references to Learnbook.
We aim to make your learning experience as smooth as possible by providing clear, step-by-step guidance for all assessment tasks within aXcelerate. For additional support, you can book a call with one of our coaches using the Support Call link located on your homepage dashboard.
Youâre also welcome to message your assessor directly through the platformâjust click the message icon on the right side of your screen to get in touch.
If you're studying through aXcelerate, youâll need to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) to complete the interactive PDF forms included in your course. We also recommend accessing your learning portal using Google Chrome, as it's the most compatible browser and helps avoid issues when completing and submitting your assessments.
If you're using our previous platform, Learnbook, most assessment resources are in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word formats. Please ensure your device can open these file types, or install equivalent programs to support your coursework.
All students have 12 months from the date of enrolment to complete their courses, pass final evaluations, and have all assessments completed and submitted for marking. Anything past this date will require an extension. If you are approaching your 12 months and feel as though you will need more time to complete, you can simply purchase your course extension.
One of our assessors will begin marking your assessments once you start your practical workshopsâin some cases, even earlier. They will provide feedback on any tasks that require resubmission or correction and will support you through the process. Assessment feedback is typically provided within 14 working days from the date of submission.
The great news is that you can start your practical workshops without having done your online assessments. We do, however, ask you to complete each week's video content before attending the practical sessions. This is important as the practical video content explains the requirements for each week's workshops.
Yes, completion of Certificate III is a prerequisite for commencing Certificate IV. All Certificate III assessments must be submitted and deemed competent before access to the Certificate IV course is granted. In aXcelerate, access to Certificate IV will only be unlocked once Certificate III has been completed.
If you donât pass your final evaluation, youâre welcome to resit it with the next available group at no additional cost. Please note that availability may vary depending on your location and upcoming course schedules, so there may be a wait.
If you need to be assessed sooner, you can request a one-on-one evaluation with a coach at a mutually agreed-upon time. This option is subject to availability and incurs a $250 fee to cover the coachâs time.
To request a private evaluation, please email [email protected]. While weâll do our best to accommodate your request, one-on-one sessions cannot always be guaranteed.
We understand that unexpected things can come up. If you miss the scheduled session, email [email protected] as soon as possible to join the next available evaluation session, which may involve attending a different campus.Â
If needed, you can request a private session for a $250 fee, subject to the coach's availability. To explore this option, reach out to [email protected]. Weâll always do our best to support you, but please note that private assessments cannot be guaranteed.
Your qualification will be issued once you have successfully completed all assessments and have been marked competent in both the written and practical components. Please note that all course fees must be finalised before your certificate can be released.
Once issued, your digital certificate will be emailed to you within 30 calendar days. You will also have immediate access to download it from your learning portal (aXcelerate), where it will remain available with no expiryâas long as you maintain access to the platform.
For more information, refer to the Assessment section of your Student Handbook.
Because our course is blended with face-to-face workshops, there is no requirement to submit additional work experience as long as you attend and are deemed competent in all 13 workshops.
If you miss a workshop or evaluation, please email [email protected] as soon as possible. You may be able to join the next scheduled session with another cohort, subject to availability.
If it is important for you to be re-evaluated sooner than the next scheduled session, you can request a one-on-one evaluation. This is subject to coach availability and costs $250. To request this option, please email [email protected].

A dedicated module at the end of your learning platform covers everything you need to know about insurance. It includes a video overview and a form to help you connect with our preferred insurance broker.
Please note: Insurance is not provided by NHFA. Weâve worked with brokers to arrange a recommended policy, but any questions about coverage, pricing, or claims must be directed to the broker directly.
Once you receive your qualification, you can apply for registration with AusActive (formerly Fitness Australia). A digital copy of your certificate will be emailed to you, which can be used to complete your registration.

We share fitness industry job opportunities through multiple channels. You can explore a wide range of roles on the AUSactive Jobs Board: https://jobs.ausactive.org.au/.
We also include relevant local job listings in our monthly newsletter, sent directly to students based on their location.
Love your experience with NHFA? Refer a friend or family member to our combined Certificate III & IV in Fitness course and receive a $250 referral bonus once they enrol and begin their course.
How it works:
If youâre on a payment plan and still have fees outstanding, the referral bonus will be credited towards your remaining balance. If your account is paid in full, we will transfer the $250 directly to your nominated bank account.
Please note: Only one referral bonus is issued per enrolment. We often receive multiple referrals for the same student, so the bonus will go to whoever referred the person first.
